Restaurant Yap Yin & Bak Kut Teh

This restaurant is very famous for its food. Ehem.. Sang Yu or "Raw" fish. You can have it steamed. Or steamboat. Their steamed sang yu is very good. Everyone orders that here. Haha.

This time my family made it different. We had steamboat. Haha.

Their soup base is very nice. Very thick smell of sang yu. Nicer if you put in crabs..

Roma

Hehe.. arrived at the Termini Station in the noon. And checked into a small cosy apartment near the Spanish Steps.

Headed to Vatican City after that.

Walk from the apartment to the Vatican City took us 20-30minutes. Wah... maybe we took our own sweet time walking slowly and looking around.

Too bad, the place is closed as it was already 5.45pm. They close at 6pm everyday.

So we just snapped some pictures and then walked around before going out of this small state.

Took a lot of pictures while walking back to Rome. Haha. And we stopped nearby for dinner. The Carbonara pasta wasn't as nice as the one we had in Florence.

Headed to Piazza Navona. Hehe. The 500years fountain in this piazza. And also place where Bruce Lee had film shooting.

Then we went to the Fontana Di Trevi. A must go place for all couples. Of course Bubu and I made wishes and threw coins into the fountain. Hehe.

This was the last stop and day Bubu spent with us. He had to return to the UK for studies. =(

This restaurant is famous for its porridge. But I personally like the Frog rice noodle.

Tau fu pok with fish meat. And Fu Pei (another fave).

Yong Lat jiu (chilli). Spicy.

Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh

Normally, my family and I have Bak Kut Teh at Pao Xiang or Teluk Pulai Bak Kut Teh.

Today I'm showing you Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh. It's not pottery Bak Kut Teh like Teluk Pulai. These come in bowls.

Normally we will go to the Puchong's one. (Puchong Restaurant pic below)

But we had Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh in Taman Berkeley because Teluk Pulai Bak Kut Teh was fully occupied.

One thing special about Klang Bak Kut Teh is their soup texture. They are not as light as other state's Bak Kut Teh. It has thicker soup. Strong herbal taste.

Taman Berkeley's Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh's pork are fresher. Perhaps, the shop has many customer everyday so they can afford to get fresher pork from supplier.

Then headed to Klang for Yam layer cake. My favourite cake since childhood.

Firenze (Florence) and Pisa

Firenze is a small city. It looks more like a town. Lol. Nothing much to see. Only few attractions here. Had Ravioli. Bubu had Carbonara. The carbonara in Italy is different. Instead of cream sauce, theirs are clear sauce like olive oil but with strong bacon smell. Delicious.

Walked around Firenze after dinner.

Went to Tuscani Village the next day for designer brands. They have Gucci, Ferragamo, Armani, Dior, D & G, etc.

After that, headed to Pisa Central to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It was a hot day and we walked about 30 minutes to the Duomo.

Got back to Firenze after that. And went to some places that we didn't go in the first day.

The place was so merry at night. Lucky us, we get to watch a street band performance. And we followed the band marching in the city. Hehe.
