KK Waterfront

Went to Waterfront KK. It was a super hot day. And most of the restaurants' kitchen is closed. So we had snacks in Thai restaurant.

The Waterfront KK should be crowded at night. With dinners and drinking sessions. Shall check it out next time.

Sinsuran Sang Yuk Men & New Mui Vui

Do you remember I blogged about Jia Siang Sang Yuk Men last time? This time I got a chance to eat Sinsuran Sang Yuk Men. The Sang Yuk Men is undoubtedly better. The Sang Yuk is more tender and the soup taste very nice. Really suit my appetite.

A Month Late

Yes. We are ONE MONTH LATE in celebrating our anniversary. Hehe. This time we celebrate with simple dinner at Brass Monkey Cafe & Pub.

The shop's owner is very creative in decorating his restaurant. Very nice but too bad I didn't take pictures of it.

Lamb Stew Pasta. The pasta is delicious but bf said his mum's lamb stew's the best. Haha.



Lobster Thermidor. Recommended by the owner. You can choose the lobster's size. There were only two of us so we ordered a medium one. The Lobster is very nice. I don't know how to describe but will definitely ask bf to bring me there again. HAHAHA.


Our Dessert--Hot Choc Pudding. See the word HOT? It's super hot, don't put it in your mouth straight or you will burn your tongue. Hahaha. But the pudding was really nice. Chocolate flavour very prominent and the pudding made me melt. Hahaha.


After dinner we headed to cinema for a 3D movie.

Laksa very similar to Yee Fung's. Situated in Kedai Kopi Laksa dan Makanan in Inanam.

Laksa pan men. But Laksa mee better.

Restoran APIWON famous for fish cakes. Very pricey though.

Grazie Italian Restaurant

This restaurant is situated in Plaza wawasan opposite public bank. Serving high quality Italian cuisine. It's a bit pricey though. The ambience is quite nice with very good hospitality. Quiet, relaxing and nobody will disturb you. haha.


The Mushroom soup is very creamy and has very strong mushroom taste. You can also feel those mushroom pieces in your mouth. mmmmmmmm.






You can ask for chilli oil. It enhances the flavour of your food. Put a little bit on your pizza or pasta will do.



The pizza. Very crunchy pizza crust with lots of meats and cheese. Simply perfect.

The Chinese Restaurant

Another halal restaurant in KK that serves great dim sum. The Chinese Restaurant in Hyatt Regency KK.

The price is quite expensive for the har kao (prawn dumpling) priced @ RM12/basket. Dim sums will only be cooked after you have ordered to maintain its freshness. The prawn is really fresh, you guys should know that the most important and most used ingredient for dim sum is PRAWN. Therefore the freshness of prawn determines the quality of dim sum. KK's dim sum is good because they can get fresh prawns as they are near the sea unlike KL. It's very hard for you to find a nice dim sum place to eat in KL. And I personally think that those places that serves cheap dim sum in KL do not serve good dim sum. Giving you few examples, J** Xuan dim sum, Sri P**aling's.... Yes they are cheap and flooded with people, I personally tried them before but they disappoints me.

So I understand why this restaurant are able to charge such a high price because their dim sum is good. Another place in KK with good dim sum is Foo Phing.

Kuo Man

Kuo Man @ Sunny Garden is famous for its fish balls. The shops with nice food in KK are always packed with people. Most of the food shops are opened in the morning. So you need to get really early to that place so that you a place to sit to indulge your food.

Homemade roasted pork. Tasted ok only.


There is also another shop that serves the same food. Few shops beside Kuo Man. The taste is almost the same if not better.
